One of my very best girlfriends, Katelyn, is a wonderful person and has such a special family. The whole crew has been nothing shy of a Godsend since we moved to Naperville. Katelyn and Isabelle helped us unpack in October, I was delivered tasty lunches while on bed rest in November, and was called daily and visited almost weekly when I was in the hospital December thru February. And if that wasn't enough, more of the family has offered love and support to Craig, I and our boys since coming home in March. Let me explain a little about each member of this incredible family...
- Katelyn (aka Auntie Kate) is a friend who I call when I need anything, literally anything! Whether it's a hand, a meal, or just an ear, I KNOW that I can count on her. And as a bonus, the boys light up every time they see their Auntie Kate. She is so loving and nurturing, and a true blessing to our family. No picture :-(. Auntie Kate is a bit camer shy.
- Isabelle is Katelyn's daughter. She is so cute to watch with the boys, as she makes them belly laugh every time they see her. Isabelle is such a special little girl and we love her very much!!!

- Dave is Katelyn's husband. Just as Isabelle gets the boys to belly laugh, Dave has a similar effect on me. And he is even more than a comedian... he's a delicious B-B-Qer as well. He has made us several meals, and if you were at the boys' christening, he B-B-Qed for you too! Craig and I are very lucky to have Dave as a friend. Sorry about the picture, Dave. The best I could come up with was this picture from the 80's Prom :-).
- Rosemary is Katelyn's mother. Oh do I LOVE Rosemary!!! I didn't know her very well until after the boys were born, but I feel that we are now very close. After all, I see her a few times a month. Rosemary comes over to our house when she is needed the most. Since the boys were just a few weeks old, Rosemary has shared her 'grandmotherly' love with our boys. When they were newborns, she would just sit in the nursery and cuddle with the babies. Now she jumps right in and offers the boys whatever they need... some 1-on-1 time, a little bit of silliness, or a ring leader. As for me, she offers a variety of her gifts as well. Sometimes I take the opportunity to grab my shower for the day, other times I crave to have 'adult' conversations while playing with the boys, and sometimes I just sit back and watch her interact with the boys, as I can learn so much.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!
