I waaaaaay underestimated the challenges of going to a photo shoot with three babies. Back in July when the boys were going to get their pictures taken in their Christening outfits, I asked my parents if they wanted to meet us at the mall. I said something like "Please don't feel obligated. We'll be just fine. I just thought you might enjoy seeing the boys in their Christening outfits." Boy was I wrong. If Mom and Dad didn't meet us, it would have been a complete disaster! Anyways, I recently had a similar conversation with my mom and dad. Since they wouldn't see the boys on Halloween, I asked them if they wanted to attend their photo shoot. They did, and were busy non-stop... dressing the boys, wiping spit-up, putting booties on (20+ times), attempting to get the boys attention, trying to make the boys smile, prompting the boys up, repositioning our now 'mobile' babies, etc. It was exhausting, and would have been a completely impossible task if they were not there. I'm learning...

Unfortunately, the only people who smiled the whole time we were in the photo studio were the three adults.

Mom with Aidan the Bear.
Dad with Liam the Turtle
Grandma (killing time) reading to the boys when we were waiting to view the pictures.

Thanks Mom and Dad. I promise no more photo shoots for quite some time... Oooh, I mean Christmas!!!
