'Fall' on the Farm

Our third trip to the farm was another fun adventure. We were able to see the whole family... I mean the WHOLE FAMILY!!! We are always lucky enough to spend a great amount of time with the immediate family, but we saw everyone this time around. And as a bonus, Grandma and Grandpa (and Kristi, Mr. H., Mrs. H, Ellie, Joey, Sarah, Will, Ben, and Thomas) watched the boys so Craig and I could spend time with Kevin and Toni. Unfortunately I do not have any pictures of our time with them while we were trying out some 'new places', but I did a decent job taking pictures the rest of the weekend.

Mary, a family friend, has been taking beautiful pictures of "The 'S' Grandkids" each fall. When she started a few years ago, it was quite a bit easier with only 3 to work around. Now that there are 7, the challenges (distractions, spit-up, boogers, etc.) have over doubled! We'll see how they turn out, but for the time being, here a a few that I took...

A Whole Family Shot

'Behind the Scenes' More 'Behind the Scenes'
Every time we are down on the farm, we eat like kings and have fun like kids.
Here our niece, Ellie, is showing us how to do it, while modeling her new Halloween glasses.
Craig's Aunt Rosemary and Uncle Bruce hosted a Halloween party in their family's HUGE barn/ shed. What a perfect location for such a fun event. The kids had so much room to run around, we didn't see much of them. In fact, I did a lousy job taking pictures of the older kids at this party because they were always off having fun. I'll do better next time!

Liam the Turtle, with Aunt Sandy

Aidan the Bear, with Aunt Kari

Connor the Penguin, with Grandpa Ron

Anna Jo (aka Cinderella) participating in her own spinning contest.

Joey (aka Captain Hook) driving around the party checking everything out.

Liam, Aidan, and Connor laying in a corner of the barn, drinking! I sure hope we are not encouraging the boys to start any bad habits :-).

The next morning we went to Aunt Sheri and Uncle John's house for another Halloween party. This time I did get pictures of everyone.

Grandma Birdie with some of her grandkids and great grandkids.

All the kids playing 'pass the monster'.

Steve with Peter Pan's Crew and Cinderella.

I didn't know that Tinker Bell was this adorable.

John and Sherri with our turtle, penguin, and bear. The boys must not have known that it was picture time, as we can only see the back of their heads. Great party John and Sherri!

Before we head home in the car and Aunt Kari gets on the train, we all let out a little steam with some exercise. Liam showed off his jumping skills the whole weekend, even when he wasn't in the jump-a-roo.

A little more exercise before loading in the car. This weekend Connor seemed to master getting from Point A to Point B, by whatever means possible (kind-of a crawl, but kind-of a swarm). Way to go Connor!

One last bottle before the almost 4 hour car ride. Grandma and Grandpa looking a little sad to be saying goodbye.

What a fun trip. Can't wait 'til Christmas!!!
