Scared of What???

I originally wrote this post on 10-10-11, but never published it. 

 

Many many years ago my parents bought me a Halloween decoration that is a witch who talks and plays music when a button is pushed.  It was always a favorite amongst my 1st grade students.  It is not, however, a hit with my three 3 year olds.  When I took it out of storage, put it on the fireplace in the family room, and hit the button, all three of my little boys immediately dropped what they were doing ran into our pitch black laundry room and hid.   

 

Not being able to really see them, I grabbed my camera, and with the flash I was able to see their facial expressions.  In my opinion, priceless (and a bit strange that they are afraid of a decoration but not a dark room)!
