Oh No! Oh No! Oh No!

Being a mother and former educator, I thought I would love and appreciate every little new thing my boys learn. I was wrong!!!

In the last week...

Liam learned how to turn on and off the television (and also taught his brothers). With all of the toys we have in the family room, the tv is now their favorite thing to play with, which is a "NO" we have been working on and failing miserably!

Connor learned how to get on to the couch without any assistance. It's only a matter of time before he escapes the family room and has free reign of the house...
And Aidan learned how to open closed doors. His first 'trespassing' room, the bathroom. As you can see, he allowed his brothers to serve as his accomplices. Since this will be the one and only time they will play in the bathroom, I decided to let the boys have a little fun in the usually 'off-limits' room.

Yikes, what's next?!?

I am right there with you! I have one that has learned to climb up and up and up which includes the couch. However, he does not know how to climb down.

I am happy our TV is out of reach as we are struggling to teach the concept of "no, don't touch."

Oh... these days are fun!

Maybe introduce them to the remote - maybe they'll just sit quitely on the couch and flip channels - LOL!
I fear my future! Our guys had been doing good with versions of No until recently - apparently if we can't get them to smile for a picture we can just say No - and get the cutest smiles ever! They think this allows them to get away with ANYTHING. Thankfully we are standing our ground - so far. I feel your pain.
