Liam, Aidan and Connor taking a car (a.k.a. crying) break at a rest stop on the way down.
Okay, it didn't start off crazy fun, but it definitely improved the second we got out of the car.
Yay, we made it to the farm, and were greeted with very excited grandparents and some delicious food.
Right after dinner we were off to Bonifest to see more family and have some fun.
When we got home my four year old Goddaughter, Anna, proudly showed off what she learned in school while paying tribute to all who offered their lives for our freedom on this Memorial Day weekend.
Early the next morning we were back at Bonifest for its 5k run and 2 mile walk.
When we found out that Bonifest had a "Toddler Bouncetown" we thought the boys would have a blast.

We were wrong!!! All three of our adventurous little boys HATED Bouncetown.
When we got back to the farm, one of Uncle Eric's friends came by with this new T-Rex, and Liam was the lucky boy who got to check it out. I have to admit, I was a bit jealous of Liam.

In the evening Grandma and Grandpa watched the boys, so Craig and I took full advantage. We had an awesome date night in Saint Louis, while participating in a murder mystery dinner in a haunted mansion.
Even though we got there a little late, I still managed to become a murder suspect. Here I am pleading my case to the crowd. What fun!
Humphrey Dumphrey was my alibi.
Craig and I in front the haunted Limp Mansion, after I was proven to be innocent of the murder.
The next day the Kristi, Steve and family had a nice get-together in their beautiful new dream home. I did a lousy job taking pictures during the event, as I was pretty busy chasing my active little people in the new 5500 sq foot home, but I did manage to take a tour and catch up with our awesome relatives (who also volunteered to chase Liam, Aidan and Connor around).
And here are a few pictures to capture how we passed the time on the drive home...
Connor enjoyed a little snack while watching his movie.
Liam displayed what we hoped all three would do (no such luck!).
And Aidan showed off what Craig and I wanted to do the entire time we were in the car.
We were wrong!!! All three of our adventurous little boys HATED Bouncetown.
Later in the afternoon my jealousy subsided when the boys and I were invited to go in the tractor to 'help' Grandpa Ron finish his bean planting. Yay Grandpa!!!
All the boys' cousins, aunts and uncles came over one last time before we hit the road.
Connor enjoyed a little snack while watching his movie.
You know it's loud when a 14 month old is plugging his ears... UGH!
The boys enjoyed their last vacation meal in McDonald's.
