Cub Mom + Card Dad= One Major Comprimise

AND Three Mixed Up Kids!

Obviously a key component in marriage is the art to compromise, which Craig and I do quite well.  That is, except in the area of baseball!  It's been an issue with us since day one, when I first learned  Craig was a Cardinal fan.  Fast forward a couple year, our priest mentioned our rivalry during our wedding's homily AND in our wedding guestbook my mom even felt the need to offer us a little marriage advise...  "Forget the Cubs and Cardinals.  There's a new team in town that is unbeatable-  The Sch****s. Love is infinite!  Congratulations".

8 years later, almost to the day (Happy Anniversary Hottie), we still can't let go of our rivalry, but now with three little boys, it makes things a bit more complicated.  So, for the sake of the children, WE COMPROMISED!!!

Cub Hats and St. Louis Cardinal Shirts

The boys first time at Wrigley.  An afternoon I will always remember!

We had great seats and were surrounded by very friendly people.

And lots and lots of special treats :-).

The original Mr. Cub with all of my boys, who when added together only totaled 1 1/2 Cubs :-(.
 Our Blended Family

We left when the game was tied in the 9th, so everyone was happy.
And I was still grinning in the car after I learned about the walk-off home run in the 10th!

CUBS WIN!
