Since the boys and I had such a blast visiting the whole S/H clan last summer, we decided to do it again. We took off for a week, spending 1/2 the nights with their cousins at the H home and the other half at Grandma Mary and Grandpa Ron's on the farm. What amazing in-laws I have, to not only take us in for the week, but to show us non-stop fun!
On Monday all the boys' cousins, Kristi, MaryJo and I headed to the Magic House in St. Louis. By far the best children's museum I have ever been to. We were there for 5+ hours, and could have stayed even longer! So much to see, do, and learn!
Tuesday was an extra fun day... 2 parties!!!
The first was a pool party on the farm with many of Craig's aunts, uncles and cousins, and their kids. So much fun, and really really nice people!
The second Tuesday party was at the H family's house, which was also a blast!
These girls are not only really good to my kids and with my kids, but they are super fun to hang out with. Awesome people all around!!!
When you have sidewalk chalk, who need a sidewalk when Grandpa Ron is around?
Popsicle Party People
Aidan making the rounds, and loving every minute of it!
Not sure what they were doing, but it looks fun whatever it is.
Wednesday was "Country Club Day".
Before golfing, Steve huddled all the kiddos and attempted to teach my boys the importance of talking quietly while on the course. We'll work on it and maybe have it mastered next year?!?
All the golfers ready to go... Notice my boys sporting their new hats that Uncle Steve and Aunt Kristi gave them for the special occasion.
Doesn't get more adorable than this!!!
Ellie's only 8, but she sure can hit the ball far AND straight! Impressive!!!
A natural!
Sure Connor, it went all the way over there!
My turn!
Liam broke open a nasty blister on his last swing of the day. In attempt to help him feel better, Sarah showed him a blister on her foot. Too cute!
Connor was such a gentleman, carrying Sarah's clubs back to the cart for her after a long morning on the course :-).
Swim time at the country club.
Thursday was Farm Day! Not many pictures since the boys were farming the whole day, earning our keep :-).
On Friday we were off to the St. Louis Zoo.
Connor is still not a fan of the 4-D movies!
Joey with his twin, Joe.
Saturday was another day on the farm. After a nice ride, the boys were off to work!
And more time in the pool!
On Sunday we had a fun morning with the family, going to church, on gator rides, lots of swimming, and delicious food. After the busy morning/ early afternoon, we hit the road so we could see someone who we missed terribly... DADDY!!!
Daddy had welcome home presents for everyone... mini-tools for the boys and flowers for me :-).
The S/ H families gave us a priceless gift that we will forever be grateful.
Thank you for such an amazing week!
