Busy, Busy, Busy!

Everyday is busy in our home.  That's the way I like it.  And thankfully, my boys like it too!  Here's today's recap...

First stop was the library for story time.
And since we were already at the library we just had to stay for the second program, "Make It and Take It".

Afterwards we had a picnic and play date at the park with our library friends, Abby and Anna (the twins above in the story time picture).  I don't think I'll ever forget their names, thanks to my beautiful nieces!

Once fully energized we were off to soccer lessons...

and bounce houses!!!

And our day's grand finale was a special birthday present from their Auntie Angie...
A trip to LegoLand, lucky lucky boys!

Unfortunately LegoLand was not off to a great start.  While going on a jungle adventure, the boys were almost eaten by a Lego crocodile.  Luckily after a few screams and ouches, they were all okay and ready to see the rest of the discovery center.

Darth Vader, watch out for tough and sweet Gedi Liam, Aidan & Connor!

Factory worker, Connor, helped the professor teach the class how to make Legos.

Auntie Angie was very happy with Connor's work, and her 'free' Lego!

Probably the highlight of LegoLand for the boys...  The "Lego Racers: Build and Test" station.  Auntie Angie suggested that Craig build the boys a track, and I agree :-).  Craig?!?

My little engineers made their own dragons during the "Master Model Builder Workshop".  Even though it was harder than it looked, at the end of the session we had 5 Lego dragons that actually looked like dragons :-).

Auntie Angie and Aidan ready to fly on their Technicycle... Up, Up, and Away!

The 4-D movie was NOT any of their favorites, especially Liam!

My 3 superheroes (and Batman)!
If I knew I was going to have the below conversation with Liam just minutes later, I would have asked Auntie Angie to be in the picture as well!

As the boys were getting themselves buckled into their carseats after visiting LegoLand and saying their good-byes, Liam asked me "Auntie Angie is as nice as a superhero, right Mommy?"  "Yes she is Liam!  Yes she is!"  And that was after I made him wear a shirt with buttons (Liam HATES buttons!), which he knew was a present from Auntie Angie.  She sure made quite an impression on him, to go from the lady who gave him a BUTTON shirt to a superhero!!!  Only Auntie Angie...  A perfect present for my three adventure loving boys, and me :-).  Thank you Angelika!!!

Like I stated, "Busy, Busy, Busy!", and I loved every minute of it!
