Fun in Our FRONT Yard

This is the first summer I have been able to take the boys out to play in our FRONT yard, since they now listen (for the most part) and understand consequences. I know they are only two and can get excited and forget our street rules, but I truly am amazed that they NEVER have. And when I say NEVER, I mean NEVER! It's awesome!!!
A few pictures and one video of the boys having a blast in our FRONT yard...

Safety First for Connor!!!
Our neighborhood girls taught the boys a few scooter tricks.
Here Aidan is demonstrating his favorite one, while going down the driveway.
And looking so adorable...

I never think to take videos, but I knew a picture would not be able to accurately capture this moment...

Preface- While Liam was inside with his occupational therapist, a few kids down the street came down to play with Aidan and Connor. While playing, the girls taught the boys how to ride their 2 wheeled scooters. Within a few minutes, both boys were off, independently riding the girls scooters. After therapy, Liam came outside, just as Craig came home. I knew that Craig would be impressed that two of his boys learned how to ride the "big kid" scooter, so I asked them to show their daddy. Unfortunately, neither of the boys wanted to stop what they were doing, so Liam gave it a try. A couple minutes later, literally, this video was taken.

Liam's Defense in attempt to turn the thing around- OUR scooters' bars don't go 360, so when the boys turn our scooters around, they just pull its handles, just as Liam did with the 2 wheeler. As the video shows, he was confused, but our smarty eventually figured it out.
WAY TO GO LIAM, AIDAN & CONNOR (and me for being able to *play* in our FRONT yard)!!!

What a sense of freedom and fun playing with the neighbors. I LOVE all the pictures and especially the video but I think I appreciate the first picture the most standing on the curb knowing he can't go in the street! They are getting so big - I can't believe they are riding scooters like pros!
