Like most people (I think), holidays bring special memories to mind. I thought I would post about a few that I hope to never forget...
1. While growing up, on Good Friday my family and I would ride our bikes to the neighborhood churches. This started so long ago, the first year we did this I was too young to ride my own bike so I sat on my dad's handlebars as we went from church to church. My parents started such a nice tradition, I hope to continue it with my boys for many years to come. For obvious reasons (I think they are obvious anyways), we only made it to one church this afternoon, but believe me, it was eventful enough :-).

2. Since I graduated from college until she was no longer reachable, I would call my grandma to ask her how to make hard boiled eggs. For the first few years I truly needed to know, but as time went on I think we both just appreciated the annual "Easter egg making" call. I now can not make hard boiled eggs without thinking about my special grandma.
Side not- During one of my last visits with my grandma, I told her that Craig and I were expecting triplets. I don't know if she understood what I was telling her, but I am 100% positive that once she passed she was watching over them. How lucky were my boys to have such an amazing guarding angel before they were even born?!?

3. While dating Craig, I went down to his grandpa's farm for my first S*****t family holiday. Oh, what fun! Since there were no official kids in the family yet, our generation were the 'kids' (ranging in age from 17-36) and we were the ones who searched for Easter eggs. Seriously, it was one of the funniest things, and a complete blast. It didn't take me long to figure out that I really liked Grandpa Roy and Craig's whole family! Sorry, no pictures... you'll have to use your imagination to visualize 18 or so adults desperately searching for their personalized hidden Easter egg :-).
4. Last year was the most special Easter to date... I had my whole family together, for a whole 2 days! To read about our first Easter as a complete family and see some pretty precious pictures, click here.
Happy Easter!!!
