Steak & No Shake

On Sunday Craig and I did something with the boys that we have not yet done. We took them to a restaurant to be patrons, like real people. Since this was new territory for us, we decided to take them to the first restaurant they were ever in, back when they were less than a month old (and slept the entire time). Liam, Aidan, and Connor did absolutely awesome while dining at Steak and Shake. It even took a while to get our food, but the boys didn't care... they enjoyed sitting in the high chairs, laughing at each other, and entertaining Craig and I. There is no way I could have enjoyed the experience more. Liam, Aidan and Connor definitely raised the bar very high for future restaurant excursions...

Liam took the initiative, deciding what to order for his brothers... They ended up with a cheese steakburger, a grilled cheese sandwich, and lots of french fries... Unfortunately the restaurant crew couldn't make Formulashakes for the boys, so they'll have to wait 'til their next visit to have the whole 'steak and shake' experience... Sidenote: Taking these pictures with the Steak and Shake hats was almost as challenging as getting some decent 'heart' pictures (see last post). Ugh, they want to eat everything... hats and hearts included :-).

I love it! I can't speak for taking triplets out, but I always found restaurants to be great entertainment for that age. The noisier and busier the restaurant, the better!
