Of All the Problems in the World, I'll Take This One...

But it is a problem, none-the-less, and I need help!!!

Something that I always thought I wanted, I completely changed my mind about. Maybe when the guys are older I'll want them again, but for now... No thanks!!! As of last Thursday, I officially have not one, but TWO "Mama's Boys". Aidan and Connor are very much interested in what I am doing, where I am going, and who I am spending my time with... CONSTANTLY! When I leave a room, they will stop what they are playing with and follow me (at least as far as the barriers will allow). When I am cuddling with a baby, another one will attempt to climb on and over him (literally) to get a better spot on my lap. When I am changing a diaper, one or both of the "Mama's Boys" will climb my legs. Ya, it might sound cute, but it's not! Trust me!!!

And probably the worst part, we are blessed with a lot of visitors who enjoy playing with the boys. Aidan and Connor used to not care at all who they were with, as long as they were getting personal attention... not the case anymore.

If anyone has any ideas on how to nip this in the bud, I'm all ears! Christmas is coming and we are fortunate to have a lot of family and friends to celebrate with. I would love for the Aidan and Connor to enjoy the special people in our lives as much as Liam, their daddy and I are going to.

Aidan looks happy that I am making my way back to the family room. Believe me, when I was heading the other direction that smile was not there :-(.

Connor not happy that I had to go down stairs to get his brother.

Help, really!!!

LOL! When you figure it out, let me know and I'll use it on Charlie, or rather Spencer will...Charlie is all about Daddy. I have no advice other than, don't worry too much, they'll be done with that stage in another year, or 2, or 3. ;)

Well, Cole's still a mama's boy. But it's different (he doesn't cry when I leave the room...unless it's bedtime!) I think alot of it's personality. I wish I had more advice, but I can't even get my 6 year old to move on!

it's a tough age....but all too soon it will pass....however, i agree, it is overwhelming at times to have someone need you that much.
