Target Practice

About a month ago when the boys were in our church's nursery a volunteer thought my boys looked familiar, so she asked Aidan if he went to Kensington Preschool with her son.  His response, "No".  She then asked "Where do you go?". Aidan quickly replied without missing a beat "I go to Target".

So that made me think that I should be taking them to more of a variety of stores, even though Target is my store of choice.  After all it has the best carts for multiple kids.  But since the previous story happened, I decided to expand our horizons.  Our first visit to Meijer was fine, but I realized on the second trip that I had a problem.  After Liam and Connor announced where they wanted to sit, Aidan realized that he was stuck in the basket.  The poor kid looked up at me and said in the most pathetic voice imaginable, "But mommy, I don't want to get buried under all the groceries."  Now that I think of it, I wouldn't want to either!

So, back to Target we go...
And as you can see, Liam and Connor followed my directions to the extreme when I told one to lean back and one to lean forward for the picture :-).
And since the preschool comment in the church, I have been working with the boys on where they will be attending school next year.  So if you happen to see them, be sure to ask them what the name of their preschool is.  I'm pretty sure nobody will say "Target" :-).

My kids go there too - they learn a LOT! Any time my boys are on a bike, riding toy, holding a toy steering wheel etc. and asked where they are going ... that's right, Target. I swear we go other places too!
