"Call Me Ben"

On Saturday my nephews celebrated their 9th birthday.  Since their party wasn't going to be for another couple days, Liam, Aidan, Connor, and I decided to surprise Ben, Jack, and Drew at Ben's soccer tournament. 

I really enjoy watching all my nieces and nephews shine in their 'thing', but Liam does not share this enthusiasm.  Even though he loves playing every sport, watching them is a completely different story.  It honestly took Liam all of his might to not run on to the soccer field and join in the game. 

And now, a few days later, Liam has a new favorite game.  It's called "The Ben Game".  Liam's rules:

1. Call me Ben
2. Sit on the couch
3. Clap for me when I kick the ball

Grrr... I didn't get a picture of the current soccer star (who placed 2nd in the weekend long tournament) or the birthday boys.  The rain and crazy busy parking ordeal are my excuses, but I'm still disappointed that I didn't capture the fun afternoon:-(.
