I usually do a pretty decent job at being able to figure out what my boys want, when they attempt to use their words. However, the other morning while they were taking their baths, I was at a lost when Liam kept repeating the word "aam-ak". And it certainly didn't help when the other two started to chant "aam-ak" in unison. After many guesses, I was finally able to figure out what they wanted, which were mohawks (something I forgot I gave them a week earlier). My three mohawk bubble heads, adorable!!!

Later that day we were at my parents celebrating Father's Day. Due to all the rain, the BBQ was running a little late so I decided to get creative. I shared my idea with Kelly, and a few minutes later we had a mohawk line.Aunt Kelly, the hair stylist...
Their cousins joined the mohawk bandwagon as well, making for a very *attractive* kids table.

And I can't have a hawk post without recognizing our WORLD CHAMPIONS... Yay Chicago Blackhawks!!!
In May of 2009 I posted about the awesome season the Blackhawks had, and was very encouraged with the future of the young team. I stated that if they won the Stanley Cup in 2010, I would stuff my boys back in the Blackhawk rompers Cathy gave Kelly's boys, when they were babies.
So, here you go...
And yes, there is a reason the picture is taken waste up :-).
(To read the Blackhawk post from last year, and see Liam, Aidan & Connor when the outfits actually fit them, check out the post dated May 28, 2009)
Way to go Chicago Blackhawks... Very impressive season!!!
