Ben could beat me in a game of memory by the time he turned 3!
Drew was reading before he could talk, literally!
One afternoon when we were playing with sidewalk chalk just before he turned 4, Jack told me that my answer was 13. What was he talking about? I asked him if he knew what my picture meant (I drew a big heart and put J=C in it in). I was looking more of an answer like "Auntie Jen loves Uncle Craig", but he was right, J is the tenth letter of the alphabet and C is the third. I gave him credit, but I still like my answer more :-).
Now that they are in 2nd grade, they had the opportunity to show their abilities to the school district, and boy did they ever. All three accurately demonstrated their knowledge and will be skipping 3rd grade math next year, jumping right into the fourth grade curriculum. I guess that's what you get when you cross an actuary and a CPA :-).
Ben, Drew & Jack... the Family Math Guinnesses! Your Auntie Jen is proud of you!!!
BTW- Thank you Spencer and Kelly for having the boys and I over for your first BBQ of the season... delicious!

Hey, I know those cute kids!! You rock, what a nice post!! It was even nice of you to not mention that you had to drag all 3 of your kids into the grocery store to buy all of the food for us to cook for our 1st BBQ of the year. You rock!
That is so impressive! I will file this info. away because if my boys get my math genes they will need good tutors :)
