Throw 'Em

A few weeks ago I thought it would be fun to have an indoor snowball fight, with fluffy stuffed white balls.  I gave each boy 2 and let them at it, thinking the activity would be common sense.  I was wrong, again!

Aidan was excited to play with our bucket of snowballs.

We were off to a good start, with all three looking like they were ready for the snowball fight.  Right? 

No!  Rather than throwing the snowballs, they began to chase each other, laughing and running around in circles.

  

At that point I realized they didn't know how to actually have a snowball fight, so I decided to help/ coach them a bit by yelling "throw 'em". 

And then it happened... As soon as Liam heard "throw 'em" he immediately got a huge smile on his face, placed his snowballs on the carpet, and then threw Connor to the floor. 

Miscommunication at it's best!
