Florida- Week One: Punta Gorda with Rick & Elaine

Since I am going to make a photo book with many of the 354 pictures I took while on vacation, I am going to just post a few of my favorites from each week... Enjoy!

At O'hare we were treated like VIP, from skipping to the front of the line while going through security, to being invited to sit in the cockpit of our aircraft. It was literally a glitch free travel day, which we were not expecting!

And since we got such an early flight (6:55am departure), we were at Fort Myer's Beach by noon!

Week One was awesome!!!
We spent the time with my cousins and had a blast the entire visit.

During the week we did so many fun things... We hit a beach or the pool just about every day, went to the prettiest park I have ever seen, had the most delicious meals at my aunt and cousins' houses, had the privilege to attend the most educational and entertaining bible study group with my Godmom (which so happened to be taught by my cousin!), visited some of my favorite childhood destinations (Fort Myers Beach, Grandpa's house, and the Shell Factory), to name a few of the many things we did during the week. But honestly, the best part was that I was able to spend quality time with my cousins and aunt/ uncle (in Florida :-)).
Each morning when I was getting ready for the day's adventures, Rick was on "little people duty". I definitley got the easy shift each a.m.!

As these pictures show, the boys had as much fun as I did!
And Elaine was totally and completely amazing!!! She was not only with Liam, Aidan & Connor every waking moment the entire week, but she gave her complete love and attention to them every second of the day. My boys learned so much from her, and had a blast while thier little minds grew and grew.

A perfect week, literally!!!
Thank you soooo much Rick and Elaine. A week I will forever treasure!

So... Same Time/ Same Place/ Same Agenda 2012? :-)

So envious right now! Everyone looks so happy in the pictures - it's amazing what a little sunshine can do. BTW I can't believe how big the boys look - maybe it's the shorts making them look tall, but they look so much older to me - yikes!
