This morning we decided to go on a little family adventure to the Y's pool, to show Daddy all the cool stuff the boys learned how to do in their swimming classes.
Connor demonstrated that he could stand and wait on the ledge of the pool before receiving the proper 'go ahead' to jump in.
Aidan showed his daddy that he could pull himself out of the pool independently.
And Liam, he made sure to show his daddy that it's important to take time to sit back, relax and enjoy the water.
Not surprising to me at all, each of the boys picked up a new skill after spending some time with Daddy in the pool. All three learned how to make a slam dunk!
I'm so glad the boys enjoy the water as much as they do, and I look forward to our next series of swimming lessons in the spring. Until they, I have my fingers crossed that the temperature in Florida rises over the next couple of weeks. It sure would be fun to go swimming with Grandma and Grandpa while on vacation!!!

Keep crossing those fingers for some warm Florida weather! Our weather folks are using words like "hard freeze," "sleet" and even threw in a "snow" when referring to the upcoming week. Thatis like a foreign language to us Floridians! All I know is it was COLD today!!!
Cute water pics!!
What a great way to spend a cold day!! Looks like it was lots of fun!
how fun is that!?!? My three didn't enjoy swimming in our friends big pool the few times we took them this summer but they did LOVE their baby pools! great pics of your family having fun together!
I need to get both my kids into swimming lessons. It is so important to teach them the basics of how to swim and water safety.
It looks like they did really great!
Very cute.. and what a great idea.. to spend one class with each kid individually... doesn't it make you feel like you only have one child instead of three? I bet you were freaking out at times at the pool thinking where the other two kids are.
It looks like you had a great time and daddy too!! Loved the slam dunks!! ;)
