A First for the Boys and a First for the Parents

A first for the boys: Last Sunday Craig and I took the boys to a pumpkin patch and petting zoo for the first time. We had a blast going through the corn maze, jumping in the bounce houses, looking at the all the pumpkins, petting all the animals, and having some hay fights. Unfortunately my camera ran out out of battery about 1/2 way into the visit (grrr) , but I did manage to get a few pictures while we were on our fun adventure.

As this picture shows, Liam lost the hay fight, but didn't mind one bit!

And a first for us... On the way home from every excursion Craig and I always have the same conversation, and it always starts with the phrase "Next time we need to...". We then talk about all of our 'learning experiences' (aka mistakes). The car ride home from the pumpkin patch was different, however, as Craig simply said, "In the last 19 months, this is the first time we have gone on a family adventure and it was actually easier than we planned."... and he was right!

So now I wonder...
Is it actually getting easier OR are we just getting good at this triplet thing :-).

I don't know how you do it! I am beat at the end of everything involving both of my kids and one of them is almost 6.

I'm looking forward this year because both of them can walk and pick out their own pumpkins!
