As many know, Craig and I are very spoiled when it comes to the amount of date nights we have. Not only do we have them when my in-laws come to visit, but thanks to my awesome parents, we also get "Date Night" every Thursday night. Our date nights vary, depending on our moods and energy level... Sometimes we do the romantic thing, other times we are more productive, and still other times we just hang out in peace and quite. No matter our agenda, I always look forward to Thursday nights when I am alone with my hottie.
Due to my upcoming trip to Dubuque for my college homecoming, however, my parents agreed to change the schedule this week. Rather than our typical date night this evening, Craig and I had the boys and decided to make it a "Family Fun Night", and oh was it fun! Our three boys were happy the entire time, literally not one complaint the whole 2 hours, which is some sort of record for us!
Our "Family Fun Night" started with dinner at LaRoma. Pizza, chicken nuggets and french fries! Oh wait, can't forget Connor's new love... mozzarella sticks, yum!
After dinner the boys chased each other and climbed all the animals at the promenade. I only got a picture of Liam during this period, as Craig and I were busy doing some chasing as well :-). 
Once the boys were tired out, we ended the evening by participating in the World's Largest Ice Cream Social, which was a fundraising event sponsored by Cold Stone Creamery for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. It was nice to contribute to such an amazing cause, and as the pictures show, the boys were happy to participate. 
"Date Nights" are awesome, but so are "Family Fun Nights".

Date night? what's that? :o) I am jealous we don't get date nights but once in a blue moon! Family fun night looked quite enjoyable as well! especially the coldstone part YUMMY!!!
