In my past life, whenever I saw a child on a leash I would think "Why in the world do parents put their children on leashes? It just seems wrong. I will never do that!!!".
Fast forward a few years... 
And for the record, it's not as easy as it looks!!!
I should have known better... Never Say Never!!!

i always thought that leashes were ridiculous and children are not dogs! ha! I will be purchasing the backpack ones in the near future i'm sure! i agree never say never!
I used to think the same thing!! I managed to just barely keep up with my kids at that terrifying toddler age, but I had one child at a time. I think it's a must-have safety device for moms of multiples.

I saw a woman at the fair today who had a rope around her kid. One kid. One rope. Weird.
The leashes look weird but who cares? If it keeps them from running into harms way, it's well worth funny looks from people.
So amazing how life can put things in perspective - I used to think the same thing!
