So Craig and I have been splitting up Sunday masses for awhile. He's been going to 8:00a.m. and I have been going to 10:00a.m. Our church does offer free babysitting during the masses, but until recently we didn't feel comfortable leaving our trio in the nursery. After talking with other moms and learning about their pleasant experiences, we decided that it was time to take advantage of the opportunity. When we checked our boys in, we were given a beeper to wear during mass, and told 'just in case' with an explanation that, for the most part, beepers are activated because a little one needs a diaper change. So when ours went off 43 minutes into the mass, Craig went to take care of the dirty business. A few minutes later, however, he returned with a very unhappy Aidan. Before Craig even had the opportunity to to tell me what happened, Aidan started to shake and then scream so loudly that every person in the church heard him. Once we exited the church, Craig told me that the nursery staff stated "The other two are welcome to stay, but this one has to go!". Apparently Aidan was upset the entire time, and let everyone know it. I sooo wish the staff beeped us earlier than 43 minutes into mass, as it wasn't fair to them, the other little ones in the nursery and especially Aidan.
So there you have it, Aidan was the first one to get kicked out of God's house...

Oh no! When I read the quiz I was going to comment - nobody gets tossed out of church - but had a computer issue and today I check in and find out indeed they do! We have Grandma and Auntie as volunteers in our church nursery so we've got that going for us - until they start walking and move to the toddler room - your story makes me fear the toddler room!
